A tenative Training schedule is as follows:

January 9, 2012 - Confined Space Awareness

January 16, 2012 - SCBA refresher

February 13, 2012 - HMA BBP RTK

February 20, 2012 - knots/elevator

 

Monday March 28 at 7pm is a regular scheduled training night. Driver training on Engine 41 and Tanker 41, Driving skills and engine pumping.

We want to thank the taxpayers and Commissioners of Franklin Township Fire District 2 for the recent delivery of our new 2010 Pierce Quantum Pumper.
Some features include;
Pierce Quantum Cab with 12" raised roof and seating for 6, Detroit Diesel Series 60, 515hp Engine, Allison EVS4000P Automatic Transmission, Hale QTWO-200, 2000 GPM Two Stage Pump, 1000 Gallon Poly Water Tank, Harrison 10kW Hydrualic Generator, and a plethora of storage space that will last for years to come.

Our new Pierce was built in Appleton, Wisconsin and sold by Michael Barlow of FIre & Safety Services in South Plainfield, NJ.

We are currently working installing all the equipment, training with it and you will see it on the road soon.

May 10 - Monday night - Swede Flashover Simiulator 6:30pm. Takes place at Somerset Academy

June 15 - Monday night - Extrication training 6:30pm.
